Looking for a Drug Detox Center in Pleasanton, California?

It is hard to find a rehab center that can boast that it gives drug detoxification programs a “D” for the quality of its service, but a facility called Alcoholics Anonymous offers one. According to their website, AA’s Detox program offers the following:

Alan Walsh, a twelve year veteran of the San Francisco Police, is one of many who have successfully completed this program. He was an alcoholic and an addict of drugs, but he said that he was able to get sober by doing what AA members have been doing since they were introduced. He recalled that a member of AA’s Detox program, “changed my thinking about drugs. They made me realize that I don’t need them.” In a letter of recommendation, Alan added, “They have taught me how to trust and be honest with my family and friends.”

Alan’s story has become a common theme in AA’s Detox, as he and others share their stories about how AA’s Detox helped them change their lives. There are many people who will tell you that it took them longer than they expected, but Alan was happy to share that he wasn’t in a hurry at all.

Another story that Alan shared with AA’s Detox was about how he got sober on his own. He wrote on his own personal website: “As I was searching for a way to quit drugs I learned that I could not depend on my family or friends. They would not know that I had become a drug addict.”

Alan’s story of quitting drugs is quite common among former addicts who join the program, but not everyone can go to AA’s Detox because they have to be sober before they can get into the program. That makes this particular program a unique and valuable program for anyone who wants to get clean, but is too weak to do it alone.

Another reason Alan’s story is important is that AA’s Detox is designed for all drug abusers, not just alcoholics. It is not just designed for alcoholics, but also people who use drugs and are looking for a way to kick the habit. The site states, “A group-based program for drug dependence can offer all kinds of support for all kinds of people, even non-alcoholics.”

One of the first things that Alan did after he completed AA’s Detox was to go on a trip to Washington D.C., to go through a sobriety program. “I was able to stay sober for over two weeks, thanks to the program. Then I was able to go back to the site to work on a job and enjoy my life again.”

Alan Walsh’s story is not the only story of success with AA’s Detox, but it is a great example of a successful outcome of a program that is designed to help recovering addicts get back on their feet. People with other addictions can learn from his success as well, as long as they are open to it and willing to work on their sobriety and recovery together.

Alan says, “I was able to quit cold turkey, without the help of a doctor, without friends or family. I was able to kick my habit and be sober with the program.” Alan’s story is proof that an individual can do it on his own, without outside help.

Alan’s success in quitting drugs is another reason why many addicts and alcoholics turn to AA’s Detox to kick their addictions. Alan was not ashamed to share his story with his former friends and family members, but he also said that he was happy that he took that first step and was able to stop using drugs without outside help.

After receiving a letter from Alan asking about getting help with drug detox, AA’s Detox sent him to an addiction treatment center where they helped him get started on his road to recovery. “It took a couple of months to get on a regular schedule with the center. And that was a hard thing to do, as I had trouble finding a good center to go to. They helped me make my decision and they were willing to do the work to make it happen.

Now I am back home and living my life as normal as I ever was.” If you think that this story might inspire you to get your addiction in order, you can visit the web site for more information.
